AND NOW ———– BACK TO THE PAST ———

HEY, THERE ARE MORE GREAT GRANDCHILDREN TO COME – READ ON!

DECEMBER 13, 2005 – GABRIEL JAMES KLUCK IS BORN

Our granddaughter, Becky, and her husband, Patrick, were elated to become the parents of a bouncing. baby boy. He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz., and was 20½ in. long. You can imagine how happy and thankful our daughter, Sue, and her husband, Jim, are – their first grandchild!

CHRISTMAS – 2005

Where are the Christmas pictures for 2005? We know that we probably attended services to celebrate the birth of our dear Lord Jesus at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, where we are members. We do have a picture of Sue, Tim, and family (including little baby Jonah with a Santa Claus hat on). We also have a picture of Dick, Tim, and me at Sue and Tim’s table. The pictures were probably taken on Christmas Day.

JANUARY 4, 2006

Now we have pictures of our December 2005 Christmas tree and other decorations. Our tree is decorated with ornaments which mean a lot to us, given through the years to us by our dear children, other relatives, and friends. On our console (radio, phonograph, and tape player), we have our age-old family Nativity set, four camels which came from Cairo, Egypt, when we were there, and the beautiful lighted ceramic Christmas tree which Tim’s wife, Sue, made and gave to us many years ago. This is our third Christmas in our wonderful Light House in Watertown, Wisconsin. God has and continues to richly bless us.

JANUARY 6, 2006 – TELEPHONE CALL FROM PIONEER PARK

We received a telephone call from Pioneer Park saying that our tall pine tree in the back of our lot had fallen, but since it fell in the greenway, it didn’t seem to have done any damage. Of course, we went up there to survey the damage. God again was with us because it had fallen into the greenway, and not onto our neighbors’ or our trailers – not onto our shed either. After letting our family know, Nicki, our granddaughter, and her husband, Dave (Chmielewski) went up there, cut up the trunk and branches of the tree, and stacked it all up into a neat pile. God has blessed us with a wonderful, caring, family.

FEBRUARY 14, 2006 WATERTOWN DAILY TIMES ARTICLE

“Named to Honors List – Three children of the Rev. Timothy and Susan Mueller of Watertown have been named in the honors list in recognition of academic achievement at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minn. They include Timothy, Jr, a senior, Christopher, a junior, and Julia, a freshman, who each needed to achieve a 3.50 grade point average to qualify. Martin Luther College offers an education to students preparing for the preaching, teaching, and staff ministries of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.” There are wonderful pictures of Timothy, Christopher, and Julia. We are proud grandparents!

MARCH 3, 4, 5 – 2006 – MITCHELL HEITSCH STARS IN CAMELOT

Dick and I went to see Mitch star in “Camelot” at Luther Prep. He played the part of Lionel and WORE TIGHTS! He had a lot of makeup on, so we hardly recognized him. He was great! Steph, our daughter, Mitch’s mother, came from Cheyenne, Wyoming, to see her son perform. We were so happy to see her, too. Dick was happy too because he got an expert haircut from Steph.

MARCH 18, 2006 – CELEBRATING JENNY POSTON’S 26TH BIRTHDAY

Jenny’s birthday is MARCH 21st, but it was celebrated on the 18th with another delicious meal, including one of Sue’s scrumptious birthday cakes. Jonah is just starting to crawl.

EASTER AND SPRING ARE HERE!

“Jesus Christ Is Risen Today,Aleluia, Our Triumphant Holy Day, Aleluia, Who Did Once Upon The Cross, Aleluia, Suffer To Redeem Our Loss, Aleluia.” How thankful we are that our Savior rose triumphant from the grave to redeem and save us!!! The St. Mark’s congregation sang praises to our loving God, thanking Him for the resurrection of our Savior. The church was decorated with mostly beautiful Easter lilies, hydrangeas, and tulips. Our tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and lilies of the valley are coming up! Oh, what a lovely time Spring is when the flowers bloom, the trees bud, the grass is green, and everything comes to life again! How full of wonder are the works of our almighty God! How thankful we should all be! How amazing is His grace!

Being Easter, the “Easter bunny” came, and there are a couple of pictures of Joshua, smiling from ear to ear, because he has a huge Easter basket full of toys, candies, etc. which was probably hidden for him to find – fun! The basket of goodies is as tall as Joshua!

APRIL 13, 2006 – WATERTOWN DAILY TIMES – Voice of the People

Editor, Daily Times – “I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Feingold for making it very clear to everyone who hears or reads his words what kind of morals he has.” Richard Mueller – Christian. We pray that people will follow God’s Word.

Can you believe that on April 13, 1957, Dick, Debbie, Dick(ie), and I arrived in Lusaka, Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia)? It’s hard for us to believe.

MAY 20, 2006 – TIMOTHY PETER MUELLER, JR., JAMES RICHARD WEILAND, AND KAREN MARIE (IHDE) WEILAND GRADUATE FROM MLC

How excited all of us were when we traveled to New Ulm, Minnesota, for the graduations of “Timmy”, “Jimmy”, and Karen from Martin Luther College. All of them looked great as they filed into the huge auditorium. And how much more excited and breathless we were waiting to hear where Timmy would be called. It was announced that Tim received the Call to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran School, Sparta, Wisconsin, as Principal/Teacher! Sparta is only about 100 miles from Watertown, so you can imagine how happy Mom, Sue, and Dad, Tim, were. Jimmy didn’t receive a Call because he was planning to go on to the Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin, and Karen didn’t take a Call because she was Jimmy’s wife, and would go where he would go.

We hadn’t been to New Ulm for quite some time, so guess what we found on the grounds of MLC – the Sprinter (statue) which had been at Northwestern Prep/College in Watertown, Wisconsin, all during the time we attended school there! Dick even took some pictures of me up there kissing the Sprinter. And there it was! It had been moved to MLC when the College department at Northwestern was moved to New Ulm – changes! Of course, Dick took a couple of pictures of me, but this time standing next to the Sprinter.

Timmy had done landscaping for a couple in New Ulm, so the Mueller family (including us), was invited to come for lunch. They have a beautiful home, with a grand piano, so some in our family gave us a treat by playing on it. The lunch was wonderful. Timmy showed us some of his beautiful landscaping handiwork. It was a very happy and blessed day!

JUNE 9, 2006 – RECEPTION CELEBRATING PATRICK AND BECKY KLUCK’S WEDDING

The reception was held at Schmidt’s Ballroom, 7085 Cty. Rd. H., Wausau, Wisconsin. Becky and Pat looked very happy, and everyone was happy with them. The ballroom was decorated beautifully. All of us had a good time just being together. What a blessing!
